VINTON, Iowa – 360 Sprints are making a return to Benton County Speedway.
Sprint Invaders join the IMCA weekly racing program this Sunday, July 3, to celebrate the Independence Day holiday for the second consecutive year at The Bullring.
Jonathan Cornell made the trip from Sedalia, Mo., to top the 23-car field of 360 Sprints in last year’s holiday special.
Weekly points racing continues Sunday in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by KISS Country 96.5, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Vermedahl Logistics, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods presented by Christie Door Company, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts and INEX Legends presented by Legends.Direct.
Both pit gate and grandstand open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 5:30 and racing at 6.
Grandstand admission is $20 for adults, $17 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for ages 6-14. Children ages five and under are admitted free if accompanying a paid adult. Pit passes are $30.
