VINTON, Iowa (March 13, 2024) – The annual RonDaVoo Lounge and Deli Car Show will get race fans in gear for the 2024 season at Benton County Speedway.
Saturday, March 23 racers are invited to put their cars on display on the streets of downtown Vinton at 414 1st Ave. in front of the RonDaVoo, a longtime supporter of local auto racing. The event will run from 12 Noon to 4 p.m.
Fans will be encouraged to vote for their favorite designs in each of the six weekly divisions scheduled to compete this season at The Bullring. They include Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods, Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts and INEX Legends.
Late Models featured in the PRO Late Model tour are also scheduled to be on-hand for the March 23 festivities.
The best of show, sponsored by Lil’ Racer Car Club, will be awarded at the conclusion of the event. A kids’ choice award will be presented, as well.
There are no entry or admission fees for the car show and it is open to the public.
The first action on the track will take place Sunday, April 7, with the annual Frostbuster event. Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, SportMods and Sport Compacts will take part in the season-opening special.
The 2024 weekly racing season will kick off Sunday, April 21.
