VINTON, Iowa (May 14, 2024) – After a week off to celebrate Mother’s Day, racing action will return in a big way this Sunday, May 19 at Benton County Speedway.
IMCA weekly racing resumes Sunday and will be joined by the second appearance of the season by the Pro Late Model Tour.
Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by Wright Way Trailers, IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Christie Door Company, Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods, IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks presented by iHeart Radio and Mach-1 IMCA Sport Compacts will resume their weekly points battles.
The Pro Late Model Tour, which boasted 22 entries in its first appearance of the season last month at The Bullring, will vie for a $1,250 winner’s share in the $250-to-start event.
Both pits and grandstand open at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, with hot laps slated for 4:30 and racing at 5.
Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for ages 6-12. Children ages five and under will be admitted free if accompanying a paid adult.
Pit passes are $30.
Late Model entry fee is $50.
