VINTON, Iowa (Aug. 13, 2024) – The regular season will come to a close with season championships this Sunday, August 18 at Benton County Speedway.
The IMCA weekly racing finale will include a special appearance by the PRO Late Model Tour for a Super Sunday event at The Bullring.
Entering the final night of weekly points racing, Ben Chapman leads the standings in the Friesen Performance IMCA Modifieds presented by Wright Way Trailers, while John Oliver Jr. sits atop the IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars presented by Christie Door Company.
Joren Fisher holds the edge in the IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks presented by iHeart Radio, while Brady Hilmer took over the points lead this past weekend in the Friesen Performance IMCA Northern SportMods.

The PRO Late Model Tour will feature a normal night of heat race qualifying for their main event.
A 50/50 raffle plus prize giveaways are planned for Sunday. The Lil’ Racer Car Club will also be on-hand for championship night festivities.
Both grandstand and pit gate open at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, with racing to follow the 5:30 drivers meeting and hot laps.
Grandstand admission is $18 for adults, $16 for seniors and veterans, and $5 for ages 6-12. Kids ages five and under will be admitted free if accompanying a paid adult.
